I offer a wide range of services to guide you through the process of finding and buying your dream home and relocating to the beautiful island of Crete. I will present my services on this page:

1 - Finding the Perfect Location

Together we explore real estate opportunities on Crete: after an initial assessment of your requirements and ideas, I assist you through the initial idea of buying property, guiding you through the process of finding a suitable location amongst the various regions, landscapes, and geographies of the island.

  • I help you get to know the island and the regions that are of interest to you, offering my understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of each in respect to your unique requirements.

  • I listen to your needs in terms of usage, size, requirements, and everything you are looking for.

  • We explore together with you your individual requirements and that of each person making the move with you.

  • I help you choose which region of Crete is best suited to find your ideal location, considering your needs for usage, size, requirements, and others.

  • I advise you on any personal exploration trips that you choose to do, to visit the regions and areas of your choice.

  • I offer early tips and advice for the upcoming legal and practical aspects.

2 - Looking for your Soul Home

I assist you through the exciting part of viewing potential properties and exploring the opportunities Crete has to offer:

  • I advise you on suitable estate agents.

  • I pre-select properties incl. visuals and documentation, and check any potential issues and opportunities for each property.

  • I guide you as you send me possible homes, giving you feedback, making contact with local agents, and advising you on what you are looking for, including rebuilding possibilities and options.

  • I also assist in the search as someone on the ground, visiting potential properties and sending you my own review with potentials of the property and the latest pictures.

  • You have the possibility of enjoying virtual visits, where I will be viewing the property you are interested in, before spending time and money to come to Crete in person.

  • Organizing your viewing schedule for the properties you want to see while you visit Crete.

  • I help you find a suitable home, allowing you to make an educated and long-term decision.

3 - Buying your Dream Property

I support you through the purchasing process, including helping you set yourself up legally in Crete:

  • When you are ready to purchase and need assistance during the process, I guide and accompany you through all the necessary steps, making the process as swift and effortless as possible.

  • This may include establishing a tax registration, bank account, finding a suitable lawyer and notary (in your mother tongue if possible), finding a suitable architect/engineer, managing the legalization process, advising on the payment process for the property.

4 - Creating & Preparing Your Home

While you are still residing in your home country, I am here to help and supervise the renovations and interactions with the handymen:

  • I utilize my interior design training and experience and knowledge to take advances of the best possibilities your building provides, right up until you have a home that’s ready to move into.

  • I advise you on feasibilities, interior design and will establish contacts with architects (if needed).

  • I can supervise all renovations of your new home on Crete with regular status reports. Giving you an idea of what is happening while you are not around.

  • I can manage or assist you in connecting water, electricity, and phone/internet to your new Soul home.

5 - Settling into your new life

For clients who I accompanied in their journey so far (or parts thereof), or for customers who already have a property and need advice on what will change when they relocate.

I help you to settle in and arrive, offering advice/counseling for how to integrate and start your new life:

  • If you want some guidance on how to manage daily life and where to find what, whether you are coming for shorter periods or wish to relocate there permanently, I can assist you in any relocation queries including arriving on the island and setting yourself up.

  • I guide you through the relocation process, taking advantage of the infrastructure and network I have set-up on the island.

  • I can help you set-up bank accounts, health insurance, car insurance and registration, and residence permits.

  • If you want to move permanently over to Crete, I can also assist with your removal.

6 - Departing from Crete

If you feel your time on Crete has come to an end and are returning to your home country or moving on to some other destination:

  • I help you return home after a long-term stay on Crete, organizing your removal with all necessary steps including finding a forwarder and getting offers.

  • I assist with all administration tasks such as closing bank accounts, or electricity and water bills. If needed I can help you sell your Greek property (including managing it), and support with any logistical help if an international removal is needed.

  • I support you with customs declaration (e.g. in the case of the UK or Switzerland) for your goods.

You will be able to close the chapter on Crete and look forward to going back to another place or returning to your home country with bags full of beautiful memories.
